Mindsets and Tools for Funding and Evaluating Collaborative Approaches to Systems Change

Networks are a great way of supporting relationships that become the platform for innovative and effective approaches to solving the root causes of big problems. But funding networks requires new forms of evaluation, new ways of dealing with power dynamics, and new mindsets that embrace systemic practice. That’s where the Network Thinking Academy comes in, being held Dec. 3 & 4 in Chaska, MN.

This event is for funders who want to dig into what it means to fund, evaluate, and participate in effective networks. You’ll spend part of your time with staff and network leaders from around North America, and part of the time in your own cohort of funders. The Network Thinking Academy is a partnership between Garfield Foundation and the RE-AMP Network, whose previous Systems Thinking Academies regularly get described by participants as “the best professional development experience of my life.”

The facilitators will help you develop community with one another, invite you to contribute your own experiences, and provide you with tools to explore new ways to leverage your role as a funder.

For more information contact the RE-AMP Network’s Strategic Director, Gail Francis (gail@reamp.org). Join the mailing list to receive updates about our Academies.
