Join other HEFN funders including the Forsythia Foundation at a Target/ClimateWorks Foundation/C&A Foundation funder convening in Minneapolis to discuss how the circular economy can support sustainable developments goals and where collaboration is needed. This convening takes place the afternoon of June 17 and the morning of June 18 just before Greenbiz’s first dedicated conference on circular economy – Circularity 19.

Philanthropy and impact investing can invest in long-term, transnational, cross-industry solutions to challenges to the global commons – none more daunting than the threat posed to the climate and ecosystems we rely on. Among the systemic approaches is the transition to a regenerative and restorative circular economy, inspired by the pioneering Cradle to Cradle® work of William McDonough and Michael Braungart. By shifting to a circular economy, we create sustainable solutions to increasing prosperity and remaining within our planetary boundaries. Investing philanthropic and risk capital here can begin to move the needle.

This invitation is open to philanthropic funders and impact investors. Should you like to find out more and attend, please do not hesitate to reach out to Megan McGill, C&A Foundation, m.mcgill@candafoundation.org.
