The fourth installment of InDEEP Peer Learning Exchange will take place 22-24 May 2018 at the Joyce Foundation in Chicago, IL. Consider joining all or some of these professional development opportunities. Both previous and new attendees are welcome to join in these three days of engaging sessions.

22 May:

  • The Peer Learning Exchange following by an evening reception. This full day session will focus on the increasing innovation in environmental grantmaking that explicitly frames environmental issues as enmeshed in broader racial, social, economic, and community issues.

23 May:

  • The Dismantling Racism, Bias, and Inequity in Philanthropy – a full-day workshop exploring key concepts and tools that are essential to racial equity practices.
  • The Embedding Equity Community of Practice (CoP) - This session is the second convening of the CoP and only open to current members of the CoP.

24 May: 

  •   Evaluating Equity - a half-day session that will include a luncheon and panel discussion.
  •   The People of Color and Indigenous Grantmakers Convening – a half-day session intended to help attendees forge personal and professional connections, discuss shared challenges and experiences, and build a strong network to sustain their involvement in environmental philanthropy.
