SUPPORT HEFN PROGRAMMING

You can make a HUGE difference in ensuring that HEFN is a powerful force in philanthropy for environmental health and justice for years to come.

HEFN continues to be the only funder space where issues of environmental health and justice - including impacts of climate change on health - are the central concern. I would add that increasingly it is also where the intersectionality of health and multiple social justice issues is the main agenda.
-David Fukuzawa, The Kresge Foundation

Your contribution to HEFN will support the organization's capacity to mobilize philanthropy for environmental health and justice solutions in the critical years ahead. HEFN can take a dues-plus payment, grant, or individual donation.

2020 HEFN Virtual Annual Convening Support

HEFN recognizes this is a difficult time for everyone—funders and their grantees. We’re excited to be able to use this year’s virtual annual meeting to experiment with adding in many more voices than usual and promoting the meeting’s programming to many funders outside of HEFN’s membership.  Payment for the meeting this year will help us provide honoraria to the many Movement Partner speakers we’ve tapped to share their time and expertise. Your fee will also help defray HEFN’s staff costs for creating a full menu of programming.

Funders have asked what a suggested amount might be. One way to consider a contribution amount is to consider program costs of attending an in-person convening including travel registration costs. For example, last year's registration fees ranged from $650 for a HEFN member early bird to $800 for a non-HEFN member regular rate. Please know that we are gratful for any support your organization can provide.

Thank you for paying what you can.
