Extreme heat does not affect all communities in the same way. This webinar will highlight promising practices being used to ensure the well-being of those disproportionately affected in HHS Region 5 (IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, WI, and 35 of Federally-recognized Tribes), HHS Region 6 (AR, LA, NM, OK, TX, and 68 of Federally-recognized Tribes), and HHS Region 7 (IA, KS, MO, NE, and 9 of Federally-recognized Tribes). Participants will also learn about new tools that can be used to plan and prepare for the current heat season in ways that advance equity and protect those most vulnerable.
