What happens when funders stop looking at the next election cycle and start looking a generation ahead? In this webinar, Kristen Cambell will share lessons from the Democracy Futures project, an 18-month journey she led with Philanthropy for Active Civic Engagement, designed to help funders become more ‘future-ready’ by seeing beyond the status quo and beginning to envision and anticipate the future. Through this case study, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about strategic foresight, anticipate (and prepare for) pitfalls, and break out of a reactive posture. Kristen will share lessons and opportunities learned throughout the process, as well as how participants have incorporated the outcomes into their own work.
