From now through the end of August at least, HEFN will downshift its posting on GivingInsight, from every week to once a month plus occasional bonus posts.  This downshift reflects no less interest in sharing information and perspectives about philanthropy on environmental health and justice.  Rather it’s about managing HEFN’s big work and small staff amidst some transitions.

Last week we bid a bittersweet farewell to HEFN Communications Associate Lauren Linville, who ably managed HEFN’s  blog, social media, and programming for n

early two years.  Lauren is joining the District of Columbia’s Department of the Environment to work on stormwater management issues, the subject of her graduate work.  We will miss Lauren but are delighted at her new opportunities and wish her the best. 

While we reconfigure our staff and workplans, we’ll publish a new post at least monthly.   So please check in – first Mondays of the month – for new insights into the world of environmental health grantmaking.
